Beth is absolutely AMAZING!
Beth is absolutely AMAZING when it comes to all things guinea pig. Her tours are amazing and so full of knowledge, and she’s the first person I message if I have any questions about the care of my piggies. I love how incredibly passionate she is about helping guinea pigs, and not sugar coating how hard it can be to own them. She is so dedicated to educating people and her love for these little critters really shows.
Highly recommend doing a tour if you’re considering becoming a piggy owner, reaching out to her if you have any questions, shopping at the Lair for all your GP needs and of course adopting one of the many sweet pigs under Beth’s care.

I’ve known Miss Piggy for nearly 10yrs and her compassion for the little ones hasn’t changed at all! The most caring and knowledgeable person I know. Growing up with such a role model was something that really shaped my mind and ethic.

We surrendered our guinea pigs to Miss Piggy’s Guinea Pig Lair today and couldn’t be happier with where they’ve ended up.
The place is clean, well organised and clearly very well cared for. All the piggies there looked happy, healthy and loved. It was such a relief knowing our piggies have gone to someone so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does.
We’re so glad they’ve gone to an amazing person who will no doubt take wonderful care of them. Thank you for giving them such a lovely home.

We love Miss Piggy's Lair!
We love Miss Piggy's Lair for all of our piggy needs! They helped us find our furry family in the beginning and have continued to help and support us to be the best piggy parents we can be.

Beth is amazing, so responsive, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about caring for these beautiful little creatures. You can see how much love and effort she puts into making sure every piggy is healthy, happy, and well-matched with the right home.
She also takes care of our regular piggy needs, from nail clipping to medications and even offers safe, caring boarding when we’re away. It’s such a comfort knowing our little ones are in the best hands.

Beth was so lovely & helpful!
Beth was so lovely and helpful when my hubby & I wanted to adopt Wombat and Lucky. She answered all of our questions and gave us all the information and resources we needed to help set us up for success to take care of the piggies.
She was so kind and friendly and we highly recommend her and recommend adopting a piggy from Miss Piggy’s Lair. She genuinely loves guinea pigs. Her prices for food, hay, bowls, shelters, etc were also very fair.

They do such a great job!
Beth & Rodney do such a great job looking after all the pigs in their care. We buy all our supplies for our pigs from the lair.
If you aren't looking to adopt, you can support the shelter by purchasing supplies for your pigs, holiday boarding, guinea pig grooming services, or having a coffee or cold drink at Cavy Beans Cafe.

Helpful, honest & firm!
We adopted two boys from here and my kids and I adore them. Beth was so helpful, honest and firm in the care that would be needed - she truly loves and adores and protects these animals in her care and beyond.
People were dumping guineas even as we were there and without judgement the guineas were accepted into the Lair, to be saved and safe: the lifetime commitment is a admirable and we are so warmed to have two new boys to cherish with ongoing support from the Lair

This is THE place to go!
If you're considering getting piggies, this is THE place to go. Beth loves piggies so much that she literally will not allow you to adopt unless you are fully educated and have the capacity to take on the challenging role of piggy parent. And, all piggies that she adopts out will be healthy and well cared for, and Beth is available for any support you need.
I love that we can still take holidays thanks to her holiday care and she is available for regular piggy grooming session. These are unexpectedly complex animals, so I'm serious when I say don't buy from a pet shop, adopt with Beth and get real, long-term support.

Great range of products that are affordable
Beth is lovely and so knowledgeable, we trialled 2 guinea pigs before finding the right friend for my boy. The lair also has a great range of products at a really affordable price and having access to health checks and nail clips ect is a great support network for piggy owners on the coast.
