Come Meet the Piggies at Miss Piggy’s Lair. Visitors can meet rescued guinea pigs, hear their stories, learn about guinea pig care and enjoy supervised cuddle time. The Lair is home to around 150–200 guinea pigs at any one time.
What you’ll experience on a Lair Tour: meet rescued guinea pigs and hear their stories, enjoy supervised cuddles with suitable piggies, learn about housing, companionship, diet, enrichment, grooming and everyday care, and ask questions about guinea pigs.
Every Piggy Has a Story. Meet the little lives behind the rescue. The graphic features portraits of three different guinea pigs representing the many individual personalities and stories at Miss Piggy’s Lair.
Thinking about getting guinea pigs? A Lair Tour gives prospective owners and families an opportunity to learn about suitable housing, companionship, feeding, fresh vegetables, hay, cleaning, grooming, ongoing costs and the time involved in guinea pig ownership.
Plan Your Lair Tour. Tours cost $10.50 per person and run for approximately one hour. Visits include a guided look around the Lair, meeting rescued guinea pigs, hearing their stories, guinea pig care and ownership education, opportunities to ask questions and supervised cuddles with suitable guinea pigs. Tours are subject to availability.
You don’t need to own guinea pigs or be considering adoption to visit Miss Piggy’s Lair. Guinea pig lovers are welcome to meet the piggies, learn something new and enjoy some special cuddle time.
Thinking of adopting? There is no pressure to choose a guinea pig during your visit. Visitors are welcome to meet the piggies, learn about their care and take time deciding whether guinea pig ownership is right for them.

Lair Tours are currently paused because there are too many guinea pigs in care to safely accommodate visitors in the Lair. Visitors can instead book a Cavy Beans Café cuddle to meet some guinea pigs and learn about guinea pig care and ownership during their appointment.
