Liquid Vitamin C – 50ml

A little extra Vitamin C support when your piggy needs it most! ♡

Guinea pigs can’t produce their own Vitamin C, so it needs to come from their diet. While a balanced diet with plenty of appropriate fresh veggies should provide Vitamin C for most healthy piggies, there are times when a little extra supplementation may be recommended.

At Miss Piggy’s Lair, we use Liquid Vitamin C for piggies who need some additional support, including some of our special-care, unwell and recovering residents. The liquid formula makes it easy to administer directly, particularly for piggies who may not be eating their normal diet.

Size: 50ml

How to Use:

Give 1ml per day using the syringe provided. It can be administered directly into the mouth or mixed into a small amount of your piggy’s favourite food.

Please Note:

Vitamin C supplementation isn’t necessarily required for every guinea pig. Healthy piggies eating a balanced diet with plenty of suitable fresh vegetables may already be receiving sufficient Vitamin C through their normal diet. If your guinea pig is unwell, recovering, has ongoing health concerns or you’re unsure whether supplementation is appropriate, we recommend speaking with your guinea pig-savvy vet.
