Malaseb is a medicated shampoo formulated for fungal and bacterial skin infections. It may be recommended as part of the treatment of certain skin conditions where antimicrobial cleansing is required.

When using Malaseb on a guinea pig, it’s especially important to follow the directions provided by your veterinarian and take care to keep your piggy warm throughout bathing and drying.

How to Use:

Wet the coat thoroughly, then gently work Malaseb through the affected coat and skin. Leave in contact with the coat for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. The 10-minute contact period is important for its antimicrobial action.

We recommend using it twice weekly until symptoms settle, then weekly, or as advised by your veterinarian.

Have everything ready before bath time — towel, shampoo and a warm place for drying. Piggies can become chilled quickly when they're wet, so make sure your little patient is thoroughly dried and kept nice and cosy afterwards. 🐹🛁
