Soft, sweet-smelling and wonderfully munchable — Orchard Grass Hay is a lovely everyday hay option for guinea pigs. ♡

Oxbow Orchard Grass Hay is a soft, leafy grass hay that provides the long-strand fibre guinea pigs need to support healthy digestion and naturally wear down their constantly growing teeth. Its softer texture and slightly sweeter aroma can also make it especially appealing to piggies who are a little fussy about their hay.

Like all grass hays, Orchard Grass Hay should be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It can be fed on its own as your piggies’ main hay or mixed with Timothy Hay to add a little extra variety to their hay pile.

Why we love it:

  • High in fibre to support healthy digestion

  • Helps naturally wear down growing teeth

  • Soft and leafy texture

  • Encourages natural foraging and chewing behaviour

  • Great for adding variety to your piggies’ hay

  • Suitable as an everyday hay for adult guinea pigs

Beth’s Piggy Tip ♡

Got a piggy who turns their nose up at Timothy Hay? Give orchard grass a try! Its softer texture and lovely aroma can be a hit with fussier little hay critics. You can also mix different grass hays together to make their hay pile more interesting.

Suitable for: Adult guinea pigs

Feeding: Offer an unlimited supply of fresh hay every day, alongside fresh water, appropriate pellets and fresh vegetables.
